Call history comes from Teams, so it needs Microsoft 365 connected — org-wide by an admin in Settings, or per person in Preferences. Without it the page stays empty.
Good to know
- Matching looks in a contact's phone number and mobile number by default. A connector can be pointed at other fields too — including a number a connector syncs into a custom property — which is worth doing when your numbers arrive from another system rather than being typed in.
- Only answered external calls move "last contacted". A missed or internal call is recorded but does not count as reaching someone, so it never makes a cold contact look warm.
